This past weekend, David and Alvana drove up to visit and (surprisingly) we had some beautiful spring weather on Saturday. Prompted by the warm temperatures, we packed up a quick picnic lunch and headed to a nearby park.
After lunch, all the boys headed down to the pond to skip/throw stones in the water.
Aiden and Seth seemed to be drawn towards the huge rocks, which is usually the case when we're at "Pond Park" as the boys call it.
Seth, Aiden and I have visited Memorial Park a few times this past month, but not since the ice all melted. Both boys seemed a lot more interested in throwing rocks in the water than they had in throwing rocks at the ice.
Aiden and Seth were sad to see their aunt and uncle leave on Sunday and woke up from their nap asking for Vana Bana and Davey Dave. I know the boys are already looking forward to the weekend they'll next get to see Alvana and David, in May!
