On Sunday morning, Dan and Justin went out for a round of golf. That afternoon, while the little girls napped, the dads took the boys down the road to the nearest beach. Even though it was really rocky, the four boys still had a great time.
That evening, there were s'mores after dinner,
friendly waves for a passing kayaker,
and a water fight with the hose, even though the kids were in clothes and pajamas!
Seth held Cora and told Davis, "Shoot my sister now!"
Although she loved getting all wet like the boys, she made a really pouty face when I asked to take her picture!
Every evening, Uncle Hutt read to the kids before bedtime and Sunday night was when I was able to take a quick picture of that.
On Monday the older kids watched some of a show on Ali's iPad while Natalie napped.
Then we drove to Presque Isle to spend a few hours at a non-rocky beach. The water was freezing, but the kids all had a blast!
On Tuesday morning, we were all packed up and ready to leave. It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend spent with great friends, and we were so glad to have had the chance to spend so much time with them!
