Seth and Aiden finished their kindergarten year last week. They have been thrilled to be able to go outside right after breakfast! Yesterday morning, we drove about 40 minutes away to pick strawberries. (The u-pick place in town didn't open this year for some reason, but I still wanted to pick.)
It was a HOT first day of summer! Thankfully, there were a lot of berries and we were able to pick 4 quarts in about 35 minutes.
On the way home, we had a picnic by Seneca Lake.
The kids loved exploring all the playground equipment (especially since this park was one we'd never been to before).
To cool off, the kids got their feet wet in the lake.
I'm so excited for a summer of new adventures with these little people!
