This afternoon, we took the kids to the county fair. Aiden and Seth were happy to ride some of the kiddie rides...

and to go into the "Monkey Maze" funhouse with Daddy. (Seth had a blast making faces at himself in the goofy mirrors.)

Since the fire department was there, we stopped over to look at the trucks, and both the boys were able to climb up into the front and back of the fire truck. This was quite the thrill for two preschoolers who
always list "fireman" as one of the things they want to be when they grow up!

Of course another thrill was checking out the tractor display. We know the couple that owns the tractor store so Seth and Aiden were even allowed to climb up in the really big model that was locked for everyone else. (It wasn't a John Deere tractor, but the boys didn't complain. I guess a tractor is a tractor to a three-year-old!)

Cora's favorite part of the fair was the animals. We got to pet one of the K-9 dogs and she loved when it licked her toes. There were several people with their dogs on leashes and Cora would giggle and sign "dog" every time she saw one.

However, Cora was also signing "dog" when we saw the cows, pigs, goats and horses. I guess she needs a little more exposure to different animals!
Aiden and Seth got to go in a free petting zoo and touch typical farm animals, as well as see some zebras, a camel and an alpaca. Another original fair event was the tiger show. Those are some powerful animals!

The kids were all exhausted after four hours of walking around, and everyone was asleep by 6:30pm. It was a beautiful day for visiting the fair and the best part (for Dan and I) is the taffy we came home with. I love that stuff!

Looks like a great time! I'll bet the boys enjoyed "riding the mogacycles"!
