Last Monday, the boys and I met a friend of mine and her kids for a picnic in Ellison Park, a few miles from where the two of us used to work together six years ago. It was my first time to meet her 26-month-old son, Charlie, and her 9-month-old, Amelia. Aiden and Seth loved playing with Charlie, and I enjoyed catching up with Jen.
The play-date ended well, but both Jen and I paid for it dearly with bad cases of poison ivy. I am no longer tormented by itchiness, but I noticed some suspicious looking spots on Seth now. We'll see how those develop over the next few days...
