Boxes and Boxes

We moved into our new house last Thursday! The moving company was here bright and early and most of the house was full of boxes when I arrived with Aiden and Seth. Mom and Dad Loucks came down that day too and stayed through Saturday afternoon, helping us unpack, get the appliances hooked up and get settled in. There is no way we could have done it without them! (Thank you so much, Mom & Dad!) Here's what the living room, dining room and kitchen looked like on Thursday afternoon:

Aiden and Seth are enjoying their new house. They like playing in the sunroom (but mostly just opening and closing the door to the sunroom), running on the "indoor track" (from the living room to the dining room to the kitchen and back through the door to the living room again), and climbing unto the big blue chair to look out the front window. We've seen a lot of wildlife in the woods around our house - deer, a fox, squirrels and a turkey - and there are black bears in this area too, but we haven't seen any of them yet.

Dan started back to work this past Monday after having most of last week off and Aiden got sick with a bad cold that day. He's doing a lot better now though. In between unpacking more boxes and trying to get organized, we have been to a few parks in the area and I've looked online and found a few more we can try out. It's so nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors in July!
