Earlier this week, some of our really good friends from church - the Brown's - moved to Ohio. Their kids and ours all play great with each other and we love getting together with them. Dinners at their place or ours have been an every-other-month event (at least) for the last two years that we've been living here. Needless to say, we are really going to miss them! (The only good part about their move is the fact that they are now living in the same area as my college roommate - and the kids are even going to be attending the school where she teaches. So now we have two reasons to visit Elyria, Ohio!)
When Dan was at the Brown's house helping load up the moving van this past Saturday, Chris and Amy found that they didn't have a lot of room for their kids' John Deere Gator. They decided to give it to Aiden and Seth instead of try to squeeze it in. It needed a new battery, so Dan picked up one on the way home from work Monday afternoon. And that evening, the boys were outside test driving their new toy. They are going to have so much fun with their own Gator!
