Alvana came up to visit on Friday, and she and I had a relaxing day together yesterday. Aiden and Seth had fun helping with their Aunt's makeup (much to Dan's chagrin).

After lunch, my cousin, Pam, drove over to visit with us as well. Pam read many stories to the boys, which they loved...

and got to cuddle with Cora also, whom she hasn't seen since we were at her dad's sugarhouse back in March. (Although we did miss seeing Pam's husband and kids - who were attending the graduation at the school were they teach and attend, respectively - Alvana and I had a great time catching up with our cousin.)

After dinner, we drove about a half hour away (which conveniently was on Pam's was home) to visit with a good friend of Alvana whose Boxer dog just had puppies four weeks ago. Even though they had their 20-month-old and 5-month-old daughters with them, they also brought all six puppies as well! Aiden and Seth have only ever seen puppies from a distance and they were thrilled to have six wriggling, little dogs to shower with affection (especially Aiden, our animal lover).

Cora also loved the puppies and would giggle anytime they came near her.

Thankfully, all of the puppies were very gentle with Cora, despite the fact that she wasn't all that gentle with them.
As always, it was a wonderful weekend spent with my sister!

So did the adorable puppy faces convince you to add to your family? Looks like Aiden won't need any persuasion. Too bad those puppies grow up!
I had such a fun weekend!
