Cincinnati Vacation

My annual family reunion was held this year in Cincinnati, OH and took place a few weeks ago. Dan and I left Tuesday evening at a little past midnight (in the hopes that the boys would sleep most of the way, since they are normally asleep until around 6 or 7am). Well, that didn't happen at all! Aiden was awake at 3:15 and Seth followed him at 4am. Fortunately, they were quite happy for the first couple of hours they were awake. I drove the first leg of the trip and we arrived near Colombus around 7:15am. A good friend of mine lives there and we spent the next three hours at her place - feeding the boys their breakfast and letting them run around, getting a tour of the house she and her family have lived in only for the last couple of months, and eating some really yummy coffeecake! Here are Aiden and Seth with Carla's boys, Roman and Trey.
Dan drove the rest of the way to Cincinnati and we were settled in at the campground we were staying at, Winton Woods, by lunch time. Our cabin was tiny, but there was enough room for two pack n' plays and two high chairs, along with the rest of our stuff.
Every member of my Dad's immediate family was there on the day of the reunion - all 18 of us!
Aiden and Seth had fun splashing in the water with Aunt Alvana and their second cousin, Freyah.
Although it was put on hold, due to Aiden and Seth taking a long nap that afternoon, pictures were taken of the entire Crosby group that was there that day.We had a wonderful time visiting with all the family that had gathered in Cincinnati for three days and were very glad that we were able to attend the reunion.
