Emma!!

Aiden and Seth's favorite friend is their cousin, Emma, who just turned 2 a few weeks ago. They got to see Emma for her birthday party on the 21st and again last weekend when all 7 of us "kids" and grandkids were at Dan's parents house for Marion's alumni soccer games. And yesterday, Hilda and Emma stopped in for a few hours to have dinner with us on their way to visit Hilda's parents in NJ. The boys were so excited to have Emma at their house!
They showed Emma how they climb up on the back of the chair and sit on the window sill (which made Aunt Hilda a little nervous, since the climbing gene comes from the Crosby side and Emma doesn't scale furniture the way the boys do).
And when it was time for Emma to go, we all got big hugs and kisses from her.
Seth and Aiden have been able to see Emma for three weekends in a row now, but probably won't see her again until the end of the month. They are going to miss her! But the boys will most likely still talk about Emma on a daily (if not hourly) basis. After all, she is the person they usually pretend to talk to on the phone, and the person that they always want to thank God for when we're praying with them.

p.s. When Dan and I heard the boys making some sound in their cribs this morning around 7am, the first word we heard was Seth calling, "Emma? Emma?"
