A Bouncy Day

While we were Marion for Thanksgiving, we had a small party to celebrate the boys birthday. On Saturday morning, the five of us went with Jake, Hilda, Emma, Mom and Dad to Bounce It Out, a place for kids 10 and under to jump as much as they want. What a great place! I had first read about this place on a friend's blog (Thanks, Jen!) and have been thinking of taking the boys there ever since then. Knowing how much they love to jump on the couch and their beds, I had a feeling this place would be a big hit. There were at least seven different bouncing/climbing/sliding set-ups and the kids had a blast in them.

Aiden impressed us with his climbing skills, after he warmed up to it...

and he scaled one wall that must have been about 20 feet high! After he did it once though, he climbed it several more times and we could tell he was really proud of himself!

The biggest slide was a favorite of all the kids, once they worked their way over to it.

We had the kids stop long enough to have a quick lunch, and then it was back to bouncing again.
The best part of the day was seeing all the HUGE smiles on the kids' faces! Even Seth, who hasn't been too good lately at letting us capture a smile was grinning ear to ear the entire time he was bouncing. It was great to see them all have such a fun time!
If only the adults could have been allowed to bounce too!
