We left Ohio on Monday morning and were sad to say goodbye to the Brown's. Even though they'll be visiting NY in another month, it's not the same to see them at church and just get a chance to go out to eat together as it is to spend a long weekend with them and really get a chance to catch up.
Cole and Cora gave each other several hugs... although now that we're home, Cora has been saying that she wants to marry Dax someday, instead of Cole. I guess she's got a few years to figure out which brother she wants to marry!
We stopped near Jamestown on the way home to see J and Lori and have lunch with them. It was just about halfway, which was a perfect stop for the kids, since they could run around and play while lunch was on the grill. Everyone really enjoyed the watermelon too!
Although we did our best to keep Cora clean while she ate the watermelon, she still needed a new shirt to wear when she was done. The kids all slept after we left Jamestown and it was a quiet ride home for Dan and I.
We were so thankful we were able to visit so many this weekend!
