Sledding Accident

This morning, Dan got the boys all bundled up and the three of them went outsides to sled. Fifteen minutes later, Dan was back inside with a crying and bleeding Seth. Both the boys had had a couple turns sledding down the side hill, but on Seth's last turn, he had put his hand down in the snow and headed (no pun intended) straight towards a tree.
Thankfully, after about a half hour of ice, the swelling had gone down some and Seth was feeling well enough to make faces at the camera.
He ate his lunch, played and napped well this afternoon, so even though it looks really bad, Seth hasn't been affected by it that much.
By bedtime, his eyelid was looking somewhat greenish, so he may wake up with his first black eye tomorrow morning. We'll see!
