Normally, Aiden and Seth still go to bed for a nap around noon when we're at home. They may only sleep three or four days a week, but if they go too many days without a nap, they fight with each other more (and the whining to us increases too). However, on the days they do nap at home, they usually will talk with each other more in the evenings when we put them to bed, occasionally as long as an hour and a half.
With all of us sleeping in one room at the beach house (and wanting to put them all to bed at 7pm, like normal), we decided to skip naps all last week in the hopes that there would be little to no talking between the boys so Cora would be able to fall asleep easily. Well, it definitely worked... although we did have to deal with melt-downs every evening around dinnertime. But there were a few nights when both Cora and Aiden were asleep within minutes after being put in their beds at night, and Seth followed shortly thereafter as well.

So by Friday, all the kids were exhausted! Cora was still taking regular naps, but her naps got longer and longer each day - by the end of the week, she was napping about 4-5 hours a day! At the beach on Friday morning, Seth said he was tired and he laid down under an umbrella and rested for a little while.

Correction: we had to deal with MINI melt-downs in the evenings, not full scale melt-downs. And even though they were off their normal schedule for so long, ALL your children did amazing well during our week. They were a joy to be around (as usual)!
