Mini Golf

This afternoon, Dan and I decided to take the kids miniature golfing.
(We are now quite positive that we won't ever be watching Seth or Aiden in any PGA tournament!) Dan showed Aiden and Seth how to swing their tiny, plastic golf clubs...
which was done correctly only once or twice.
After that, there were many high-stick warnings, especially for Aiden. (I guess there's no hockey in his future either!)
Dan and I played all 18 holes, but we tried to keep the boys to only five or six strokes for each hole and moved them along a few times even when they weren't done.
We were pretty lax with the rules, and their putt-putting usually started much closer to the hole than ours did.
Most of the time, we just did our best to keep the boys on the course and out of the water!
(And there were lots of tempting places!)
Despite the fact that it wasn't the experience that the boys probably would have wanted (no rock climbing and no wading), we all had a great time on this beautiful summery day!
