A few days ago, we spent the morning at Watkin's Glen State Park. Even though the park is only a half hour from our house, we haven't been there since Labor Day weekend three years ago. Aiden and Seth were especially excited to go hiking, and we were thankful for a gorgeous (although hot and muggy) day to go.
Several friendly passersby offered to take a picture of the five of us, which are photo opts that we rarely have.
Occasionally, we had to turn down offers so that we could have pictures without all of us.
Aiden and Seth did a lot of climbing, jumping in puddles (on slippery rock)...
and in general, making us nervous!
We finished up our hike with a picnic lunch, some play time for the kids on the playground and ice cream. We've decided that hiking the Glen is something we're going to have to put on the calendar once a summer, not once every three summers!
